Stephanie will bring in a variety of bromeliads tools\, and growing products and demonstrate common horticultural practices including how to know when bromeliad pups are ready to be clipped\, how to pollinate bromeliad flowers to make hybrids\, how/ when to re-pot bromeliads in a collection and how to select the right location for newly purchased plants. Soil mixes\, fertilizers\, and pesticide choices will be discussed\, as well as how to troubleshoot common problems bromeliad owners may have with their collections at home.

Many of Tony’s hybrids have been AOS awarded and he has received over 16 AOS awards.  He is a Volunteer hybridizer and seedling grower at The Bonnet House in Fort Lauderdale\, Florida. He was also Past President and Editor of Suffolk Orchid Society\, Long Island\, New York.
