Bromeliads Live is a hands-on bromeliad care workshop with no projector necessary! Perfect for those who like to get their hands dirty. Stephanie will bring in a variety of bromeliads tools, and growing products and demonstrate common horticultural practices including how to know when bromeliad pups are ready to be clipped, how to pollinate bromeliad flowers to make hybrids, how/ when to re-pot bromeliads in a collection and how to select the right location for newly purchased plants. Soil mixes, fertilizers, and pesticide choices will be discussed, as well as how to troubleshoot common problems bromeliad owners may have with their collections at home.
